Cloud Transformation Partner

As a Cloud Transformation Consultant, you are an experienced strategic advisor and comfortable interacting with all levels of client personnel including senior leader and "C" levels. You are expert in leading the Cloud transformation initiatives and understand how to integrate business and technology strategies into a cohesive roadmap. The Cloud Advisory Lead will act as a trusted advisor to senior members and Executives of the client's organization and to bring Cloud Transformation leadership capabilities, breadth of expertise and personal credibility in delivering large scale Cloud transformation or similar Programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain deep technical relationships with senior and C-level executives - develop new insights into the client's business model, pain points, strategies, and deliver actionable high-impact results.
  • Provide Cloud transformation and Cloud solution design consultative leadership input with solid experience in at least two of the following: Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform.
  • Work closely with clients to understand and develop strategic plans for Cloud services, migrations and transition/transformation programs.
    • Advise clients on accelerating Cloud adoption and Cloud cost optimization.
    • Conduct Cloud readiness assessments.
    • Define Cloud Strategy and Roadmap with a mix of SaaS, IaaS & PaaS.
    • Develop Cloud Architecture and target state Deployment Models.
    • Develop TCO and Value Models to help Customers understand the value and rewards associated with Cloud computing.
    • Define High-Level Cloud Migration/Adoption Business Case as well as Detailed Business Case.
    • Help clients develop long term Cloud strategy.
    • Drive proof of concepts demos to determine the feasibility of solutions and demonstrate to the business and technology leadership how technology can be leveraged towards an advantage.
  • Lead service offerings during the sales cycle, including project scoping, technical requirements, proposal development, and presenting proposals to clients to market and sell services.
  • Stay abreast of architecture and technology developments.
  • Provide project and program leadership and help the account management team develop new opportunities within the client space.
  • Capture lesson learnt (as part of an engagement role), provide thought leadership and address any gaps and challenges identified.
  • Achieve business growth objectives and work closely with business development leadership to drive adoption of Cloud and Service solutions into top accounts.

Experience

  • Significant consulting experience
  • Minimum of 5 years Cloud migration / application transformation experience including...
    • Defined Cloud strategy and Roadmap.
    • Conducted apps assessment for Cloud migration readiness.
    • Developed Cloud Architecture and target state Deployment Models.
    • Driven the migration implementation either as an Architect or as a Program manager (Expected to have good grip on entire migration journey and its challenges).
    • Proven capability in Cloud solution architecture design and delivery for large complex organizations.
    • Depth of knowledge in at least one industry vertical and can create reference architecture for Cloud adoption.
    • Good knowledge on Cloud Native Architecture, and its patterns and Containerization.
    • Capable of understanding of customer pain points, requirements and correlating potential business to value that can be provided by technical services.
    • Should have defined at-least one Cloud Business Case for migration.
    • Excellent understanding of IT Infrastructure, Data Center Architecture, Consolidation and Migration.
    • Should have practical expertise on Cloud discovery tools usage.
    • Experience in setting up a Cloud business office, design and implementation of Cloud operating framework
    • Experience in EA methodologies.
    • Breadth and depth of experience using public Cloud to create repeatable business services in Cloud by leveraging full Cloud potential services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, RDS, SDN, ML).
  • Strong Understanding of Cloud based integrated technologies, Migrations and Delivery Methods that provide end to end management of Cloud Services:
    • Current market trends, risks and prevalent technologies used in the industry.
    • Economics of Cloud solution.
    • SaaS & PaaS Solutions (Oracle, SAP, Salesforce, Workday, etc.), Open Source solutions (Open Stack, Red Hat, etc.), Cloud Containers, Cloud Orchestration Solutions and Integration.
    • DevOps and Cloud strategies for delivering business value.
    • Differentiation between various vendors (Azure vs AWS, etc.) and use cases.
    • Cloud impacts to existing IT operations (DR, Reporting, Compliance, Enterprise Security, SLA's, etc.)
