Role: Cloud Infrastructure Engineer
Location: Milton Keynes/Hybrid
Salary: Up to £60,000 + Benefits

The role:

My client has a great opportunity for someone to join their dynamic IT team to be the first employed 'Cloud Engineer', as they continue their journey to 'cloud' services. You will drive the shift towards a cloud first environment and support the existing cloud services. You will help guide the transition from traditional on-premise environment to their cloud platforms. Working with the central team in Sweden you will be a key player in supporting the dealer network in their move to sustainable transport solutions. We are looking for a highly motivated, forward-thinking individual with the determination to delivering best in class solutions.

Desirable experience & qualifications

  • At least 2 years' experience implementing and supporting cloud platforms on AWS
  • Strong technical knowledge of AWS Infrastructure components
  • Good working knowledge of AWS operations and cost control
  • Ability to work translate and implement design documentation from the architecture team
  • Knowledge of Azure
  • Ability to work with staff and individuals from different areas of the organisation and at different levels of seniority.
  • Excellent oral, written and presentation communication skills.
  • Fluent in English
