Role: Cloud Infrastructure Architect
Location: London/Hybrid
Salary: Up to £110,000 + 15% minimum bonus + benefits

The role:

Reporting into the Architecture Team Lead the key responsibility of this role is the development of cloud architectures to support our strategy and roadmap.

Working closely with the engineering teams, delivery partners and technology vendors you will have responsibility for:

Developing and owning a roadmap for cloud technology implementation that aligns to the needs of the strategy and roadmap
Delivering solution architectures to support the design, development and implementation for projects and ownership of the overall solution design
Working with the Business and IT teams to develop and share understanding of business processes and their implementation through the technology platforms
Providing technical leadership across projects
Minimise any impact to their Customers
Work closely with Security to implement a secure solution

You will:

You love working with both internal customers and 3rd parties to understand their requirements and priorities
You have experience of communicating technical issues effectively to multiple disciplines within IT and the wider business
You'll have a good understanding of the issues involved in project development, the ability to engage with the project managers in the deployment of the architecture in a pragmatic way
You will have experience of resolving design conflicts working with Subject Matter Experts, third parties and managers to agree solutions
You'll have experience working with multiple 3rd parties to implement an end-to-end solution.
You will have strong written, oral, interpersonal skills.
You will be self-motivated and able to work on your own and within a team environment

A broad technical background
Proven experience in a similar role
Expert AWS knowledge
The ability to work closely with both the business and IT Users
