futureproof is an award-winning technology training company that launches and develops the tech superstars of the future. Students are trained in software development and technology fundamentals before undertaking a two-year placement with clients such as Babylon Health, OVO Energy and Coca Cola.
futureproof was launched in 2019 to address two key issues: the lack of skilled junior talent within software engineering and the lack of diversity within the tech industry. futureproof is free for students, because we believe in ability, not just the ability to pay.
Since then, we have helped almost 180 people to develop the skills, experience and networks to become tech leaders of the future. We have won 4 awards, including the 2021 TechWomen100 Awards, and are rated 4.6+/5 on Glassdoor. We grew by 3x in 2021.
You'll be responsible for
*Driving growth within existing clients
*Creating strategy for how to impact growth in accounts and deliver against that strategy
*Creating and maintaining strong, long-term business and personal relationships with key stakeholders at the client company
*Working with the academy and engagement team to understand the feedback from the current associates on site and their managers and build this into the plan for the accounts
*Working with clients to create a pipeline of needs and work with the academy to fulfil these
*Identifying opportunities and creating relevant, credible solutions
*Growing and developing the function over time
*Discovering, understanding and influencing the client's Vision and Business with respect to digital transformation and identify opportunities for futureproof and the wider La Fosse services
*Identifying risk within a client project and developing a strategy to mitigate risk together with the delivery teams
*Providing thought leadership to build winning strategy that positions our services for long term success
Skills and experience
*Previous deep experience of solution-selling - must be able to propose strategic solutions to technical leaders
*Comfortable working with CIOs/CTOs to understand their strategy & upcoming projects
*Previous experience working in a technical environment would be beneficial
*Demonstrable field experience, client engagement and business development experience with requisite understanding of relevant markets
*Ability to leverage interpersonal skills to develop strong relationships within the client's, client leadership and futureproof team
*Proven track record in account growth and management
*Be adaptable and proactive; whether consulting at C-level or delivering solutions
*Proven ability to facilitate and lead conversations and workshops with both senior and executive level clients as well as their technical teams
