My digital disruptor client seek a Chief Architect (Enterprise Architect with strong development background) to Lead a team of talented technical specialists to deliver a greenfield digital transformation:

Excellent interpersonal, influencing and presentation skills required

Engage internally across various functions and departments to collate requirements, map flows, determine optimal architecture and maintain architecture
-Engage externally with customers and alliance partners, vendors to determine and implement Digital ecosystem creation, business value and TTM and other KPIs
-Deep hands-on expertise in Cloud architecture, Microservices, SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, CaaS, FaaS analysis and applicability, Real-time Pub-Sub design, Streaming services, Open/REST APIs, API management (APIgee/API Gateway/API Mgmt./etc.), Backoffice integration (e.g. Salesforce, Office 365, financial packages, etc.)
-Good experience and knowledge of Identity Management and standards, Containers (Docker or Kubernetes), VMs, VPC / Vnet, Big Data solutions (Hadoop / Hortonworks / Mongo / Couchbase / Redis), and preferably Search (FAST / Lucene / Solr / ElasticSearch /MS FAST)
-Will have experience creating Reference Architecture and design blueprints in complex environments with Reference Implementation.
-Design, build and implement best practice overall security framework, compliance capabilities and privacy standards
-Expert in data-driven enterprise and exposure to omni-channel Digital platforms
-Be fully conversant with ISO27001, Cloud Security standards (AWS, Azure, GCP), PCI, GDPR, ICO, etc. and assimilate any other standards/compliance requirements
-Hands-on plan, design, cost, and optimise detailed cloud environments (instances, sizes, compute power, memory, OS, customisation, etc.) for overall business requirements
-Map out NFRs across the enterprise and implement best practices for scalability, extensibility and manageability of all solutions and services
-Create and present Technical Options papers on key technology choices and rationale
-Ideally exposure to and experience of Metering and Polyglot Persistence, Location/Context-enabled services, Mapping, User-generated content and Social integration
-Ideally good knowledge of walled-garden design and business model generation
- Champion innovation of products & services, integration touchpoints with social media,
- Acts as key influencer in build vs buy and COTS vs COSS
-Good commercial acumen with cost management and optimisation

This position is open to a talented Architect who wants to drive and excel at the forefront of Data, Digital and Technology!

They are leveraging modern tools and methodologies including Jira, Confluence, Slack, Github, Zeplin and Sketch to enable rapid collaboration and increased velocity whilst being able to adhere to superior code quality

They strongly prefer at least a partial blue-chip background; ideally technology-first companies like social media (Facebook, Twitter, Google, Instagram, etc.), Digital disrupters (Deliveroo, Uber, Eventbrite, Babylon, etc.), mobile telcos, challenger banks, etc. - with a structured and analytical (but not theoretical) approach to problem-solving.

Education: STEM Bachelor's degree required (minimum; ideally from redbrick/Russell Group university)
