Change Manager

CHANGE MANAGER

My client, a leading academic organisation is looking to recruit an experienced Change Manager. The Change Manager will be working as part of a programme team - led by an experienced change manager. The Change Manager will share the day-to-day delivery of three interdependent projects. You will be joining the projects at critical points close to go live so must be capable and comfortable with assimilating information quickly and working to an overarching integrated change approach and plan which has already been defined. You must be an experienced and highly capable change manager who can proactively deliver to a high standard at pace with minimal guidance. You need to be an excellent team player who is hard-working and happy to do what's needed to get the job done.

You must be able to quickly understand the interdependencies across the projects, the internal and external stakeholders it impacts in the context of the broader change landscape, and be able to build very strong relationships with SMEs across the business to support them in gaining this knowledge.

KEY ELEMENTS OF THE ROLE

  • Deliver to a high standard and at pace, a variety of change management deliverables - e.g. change impact analysis, training needs analysis - with little guidance

  • Support the delivery at key milestones across all three projects

  • Support the resolution of unresolved change impacts which cut across projects

  • Align senior and key stakeholders to the strategy

  • Complete detailed change impact assessments to capture a multitude of impacts and consolidate links across programmes

  • Craft associated communications content across multiple channels

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

  • 5+ years experience in Change Manager roles; accountable for critical business change and transformation activities

  • Demonstrable experience leading and delivering business wide change in major, global organisations

  • Be able to think strategically, prioritise and plan effectively whilst balancing competing demands

  • Exceptional communication skills and an ability to work with board/C-level sponsors and stakeholders

  • Demonstrate maturity, confidence and credibility to challenge and influence individual thinking

  • Appropriate professional certifications and knowledge e.g. Change Management practitioner, Prosci, CCMP
