Job Title: Change and Adoption Lead

Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: Competitive, plus excellent benefits

A renowned Housing Association are looking for a passionate and experienced Change and Adoption Lead to help shape and embed lasting transformation across the organisation. As part of a collaborative Business Change team, you’ll play a critical role in guiding how change is adopted – working across people, processes, and technology to drive engagement, build stakeholder relationships, and support a growing transformation agenda.

This is a newly created role, offering a rare opportunity to influence how the company defines and delivers change. You’ll work closely with Project Managers, Business Analysts, and Senior Leaders, acting as a key advisor on best practices for adoption and stakeholder engagement.

THE ROLE

The Change & Adoption Lead will be responsible for:

  • Lead change and adoption activities across a portfolio of transformation projects.

  • Develop and implement tailored engagement and communication strategies.

  • Support project teams in identifying and overcoming barriers to change.

  • Embed consistent change and adoption approaches into delivery frameworks.

  • Deliver workshops, training sessions, and stakeholder engagement initiatives.

  • Provide coaching and support to colleagues across the Business Change function.

  • Measure success and gather feedback to continuously improve change outcomes.

  • Support governance processes through clear reporting and planning.

  • Champion innovation, collaboration, and a people-first approach to change.

YOU
The Change & Adoption Lead will have experience of:

  • A recognised change management qualification (e.g., PROSCI, CCMP, APMG).

  • At least 3 years’ experience in a dedicated change management role.

  • Demonstrable success delivering change and adoption within complex projects.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • A strategic mindset with the ability to work both at a high level and on the detail.

  • Experience in engaging cross-functional teams in people, process and technology change.

  • An understanding of agile delivery methods and their impact on change and adoption.

  • The confidence to act as a trusted advisor to colleagues across the business.

Experience in housing, public services, or similarly complex sectors is welcomed – but not essential. More important is your ability to bring best practice thinking and a practical, people-centred approach.
