One of the world's largest InsurTech companies, with over $500 million worth of seed funding, is looking for a software engineer, skilled in C# to join their development team and play a crucial role in enhancing their broker platform which is the core technology crucial to their success.

You will be joining and playing a pivotal role in a multi-disciplined, collaborative, diverse and cross functional team who share a passion and obsession for all things tech and who's best-in class software has transformed the market by modernising the broker and client experience.

Day to Day Work:

  • You will play a key role in the development and maintenance of robust and scalable software for business critical, web-based applications

  • Design, build, test, document and maintain API's and integrations

  • Develop new functionality in our core Kotlin based services, working in multi-disciplinary teams

  • Maintain several C# services, helping to migrate these to a new Kotlin based microservice architecture

  • Ensure quality control using industry standard techniques such as automated testing, pairing, and code review

  • Work with the Product team to understand end-user requirements and translate them into an effective technical solution

Ideally you will have:

  • Expert level .Net knowledge with at least 3 years of commercial development .Net experience

  • Professional .Net Development experience- Microsoft C# with Framework 5.0 (or above)

  • Experience as a mid-senior level engineer working across a modern web stack

  • Strong software engineering principles (SOLID, DRY, ER modelling)

  • Comfortable working with cloud infrastructure, infrastructure as code, familiar with standard logging and monitoring tools used to investigate issues

  • Experience working in agile teams, following Scrum or Kanban, participating in regular ceremonies including stand-ups, planning, and retrospectives

  • Previous experience of software development in the financial markets, Fintech or Insurtech is preferable
