Business Resilience Manager (BRM)

Financial Services Firm require a Business Resilience Manager (BRM) to take a leading role in driving the firm in becoming a more resilient organisation.

The Business Resilience Manager will have the following experience:

  • Business resilience, incident response and crisis management
  • Implementing and maintaining a Business Continuity Management System to ISO 22301
  • Designing and delivering business resilience and crisis management exercises
  • Working knowledge of financial products, industry practise and FCA legislation.
  • A high level understanding of IT system architectural design and network design.
  • Knowledge of the key IT and change management processes and associated risks and controls within major financial services firms.
  • Investigation of security breaches and incident management.
  • Knowledge and experience of ISO27000 / ISO22300 suite.
  • Able to engage effectively with business stakeholders to deliver assurance activities, resulting in value adding risk management practices and reporting solutions.
  • Supporting, defining and delivering Business Resilience aligned to ISO22301 throughout the business ensuring delivery of a robust Business Continuity Management System (BCMS).
  • Supporting the development and implementation of the Business Resilience strategy and framework.
  • Engaging with third party/supplier management teams to develop & implement an assessment for our key 3rd party suppliers and outsource partners, with regards to business resilience, developing a roadmap to remediate issues found.
  • Support businesses in performing risk assessments to identify points of vulnerability, single points of failure, emerging threats, identifying risk avoidance and mitigation strategies.
