Business Change Manager

Role: Business Change Manager

Location: London (remote until August)

Duration: 6 months initial

Rates: up to £540/day

Start Date: ASAP

Our London based banking client is currently looking for an experienced Business Change Manager to join them on an initial 6 month contract as part of a multiyear strategic IT programme to modernise and rationalise their technology landscape. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the change initiative defines the benefits, assesses progress towards realisation and achieves measured improvements in business operations benefits. You will help ensure that the programme objectives are met on time by increasing user adoption and usage and will focus on the people side of change. You will be responsible for creating and implementing change management strategies and plans that maximise user adoption and usage and minimise resistance. These improvements will increase benefit realisation, and value creation.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Working with product owners to ensure that the work of the programme, including the scope of each project, covers the necessary aspects required to deliver the products or services that will lead to operational benefits
  • Apply a structured methodology and lead change management activities - applying change management process and tools to create a business change approach to support adoption of the changes required
  • Support/identify/create actionable deliverables for the five key change management levers: communications plan, sponsor roadmap, coaching plan, training plan and resistance management plan
  • Define and measure success metrics (benefits tracker) and monitor change progress
  • Support the activities associated with benefits realisation and ensure that continued accrual of benefits can be achieved and measured after the project has been implemented

Experience required:

  • Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts and solid understanding the change process with a focus on people
  • Experience and accreditation of change management principles, methodologies and tools
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal and excellent active listening skills
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships
  • Expertise with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle with Agile technology implementation
  • Experience of introducing Dynamics 365 desirable
