Business Analyst - Publishing

A challenging Business Analyst role has arisen for a market-leading client within the Publishing industry, you will be working alongside a talented team on the delivery of a large transformation portfolio.

*This role will fall within IR35, so please bear this in mind before applying*

The ideal candidate will match the following description -

  • Strong Analysis skills
  • Experience of working in high profile programmes
  • Publishing/Education/University experience
  • Assessment/Exam/Test experience

To be shortlisted for this role you must -

  • Have very strong communications skills and have the personality and temperament to work within a Publishing culture
  • Have strong analytical skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them into requirements. Be able to elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis and workshops
  • Be able to evaluate "As is" and define "To Be" processes based on information gathered from multiple sources and business areas and have the technical toolkit to document and present
  • Have solid BA experience with 5 years plus working in large programmes environments
  • Possess experience of delivering in Waterfall and Agile environments
  • Understanding of working with third part suppliers delivering a COTS solution
  • Are an excellent problem solver and capable of working with Technical as well as Business resources to define, playback and deliver a sustainable solution that meets the defined scope
  • Are able to support the project by being proactive, raise risks and issues, support testing teams and activities, including support of UAT, support of Change activities such as training
  • Have advanced MS Office Skills and be comfortable with "Virtual" working via Skype
