Role: (Functional) Business Analyst

We are currently working with a Global Leading equipment and vendor financial organisation who are embarking on a major, large-scale IT transformation. They are looking for a confident Business Analyst to join their Business Change Team to aid the delivery of the new Customer Management System under the IT transformation Programme.

You will have the opportunity to also work on many other workstreams within this programme which includes digitalisation of the finance ledger and back-office, POS, Data migrations, and customer portals.

Responsibilities:

  • Regularly review current business processes and suggest potential improvements/ solutions.

  • To work on the systems transformation in line with the IT Strategy ensuring that all systems meet the requirements of the business and customer needs.

  • Explore and translate the needs of business teams to ensure that related system projects achieve their planned outcomes.

  • Mapping out AS-IS and TO-BE processes.

  • Run workshops with the various business teams to gather system change requirements and complete documentation for review.

  • Collaborate with SME's, product owners and developers to determine and create backlog content including features, epics and user stories.

  • To gather estimates from system providers or internal feature teams for system changes/projects.

  • Liaise with business and technical teams to aid governance, translate business needs, and aid successful delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Background in Financial Services, Utilities, or a regulatory industry.

  • BA qualification or equivalent (BCS, CBAP, CBATL, etc.).

  • Excellent Stakeholder management, with great communication skills at all levels, externally and internally.

  • Working knowledge of the Asset Finance Industry and products offered.

  • Excellent knowledge of Agile methodology and Storyboard process.

  • Proven experience within transformational programmes and projects, especially CMS projects.

  • Excellent documentation skills, high level reporting and ability to present confidently.

Location: London (Hybrid 2-3 days in office).
