Business Analyst - Distribution Change

This role will be reporting into the Head of Distribution Change, you will be working in a great team who are assisting in the delivery of change within client facing technologies.

You will have excellent analytical skills and a core delivery focus for the client facing change scrum, this position works closely with peers on evolving the approach to deliver high quality within the work space.

Requiremnts and Duties

  • Documenting requirements, generating use cases, user stories/journeys and test cases to articulate business needs
  • End-to-end responsibility and ownership of planning and delivery of business system change, from analysis and documentation through to implementation.
  • Ensuring that work is client focused, of a consistent high quality and is strongly focused on detail
  • Leading strategic thinking and organisational change related to Distribution processes in relation to data usage, client reporting, overall consumption of data and enhancements of systems
  • Developing systems and methodologies for structuring the Business Analysis process and standardising the approach to Business Analysis in the Client Facing Change functional area
  • Collaborating within the change team in areas of requirements gathering, presentation skills and workshop facilitation.
  • Building strong cross-functional stakeholder relationships with business clients and leadership, IT teams and third-party vendors/providers; manage expectations and add value and thought leadership throughout IT:business projects or engagements
  • Participation in technology design reviews to ensure change is aligned to wider architecture design decisions and platform strategies
  • Identification and detailed understanding of flows, gaps, and opportunities related to business data and it's consumption
  • Development and leveraging of experience and excellence in quantative and qualatitive analytical problem solving skills.
  • Identification and implementation of fit-for-purpose ideas or concepts, or industry/functional trends/developments in all areas of Distribution technology.
  • Maintaining a thorough knowledge of the Janus Henderson value proposition, Investment Management capabilities and product range. Maintain an up-to-date awareness of industry issues, news and legislative changes affecting the Company's marketplace.
  • Taking personal responsibility for acquiring relevant technical skills and knowledge needed to deliver value and succeed in the role.
  • Adhering to health and safety policy and other requirements relating to care of Company equipment, data, other assets and reputation.

This role is for a leading Asset Manager, experiecne in a similar role within Asset or Investment Management would be highly desirable.
