Contract Details

• £550-£600 per day (outside IR35)
• 6 month contract
• Hybrid working: 2 days in the office

About the Role

Join a transformative project aimed at enhancing integrity screening processes within a financial institution. This initiative focuses on strengthening risk controls through advanced screening technology, streamlining workflows, and centralising processes.

As a Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in delivering a new screening utility, collaborating with stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to define requirements, map processes, and support deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders across operations, risk, banking, and IT to define detailed business and technical requirements in Agile format.
• Work with vendors and in-house IT teams to implement screening technology aligned with business objectives.
• Support data migration, system integration, and user adoption through process redesign and training.
• Contribute to the development of the Target Operating Model for integrity screening.

Deliverables

• Documented requirements (Epics, Features, User Stories).
• Process maps for current and future states.
• Data migration plans and system integration mappings.
• Support for testing and configuration optimisation.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Strong background in Agile Business Analysis, including user stories, process mapping, and workflow design.
• Expertise in counterparty integrity screening within financial services.
• Proven experience in software implementation, stakeholder management, and data migration.
• Familiarity with regulatory environments (e.g., banking, insurance).
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.

Desirable Skills

• Experience with name screening technology and Know Your Customer (KYC) processes.
• Involvement in data migration or architecture projects.

Qualifications

• Professional certification in Business Analysis is preferred.
