Job Title: Business Analyst

Contract type: 12-month fixed term contract

Location: London

Working arrangements: x2 days in office with Wednesdays being mandatory (hybrid working)

Salary: up £50,000 per annum + benefits

Reports to: Head of Business and Technology Partnering

We have a great opportunity for a Business Analyst to join a London based School Trust who are looking to become leaner and more cost effective with their processes and systems.

The School Trust are a not-for-profit organisation and is the leading network of a group of independent schools in the UK. The role holder will work in partnership with School ICT, School Digital Leaders and Innovation & Learning to enable usage of technology by teachers and students for an outstanding learning experience in schools.

What you will do day-to-day

• Stakeholder engagement to understand and collate requirements across schools within the trust including visit cycles (ongoing audit and gap assessment)
• Anticipating business needs and identify and propose technology to fulfil those needs
• Support the implementation of new business systems or upgrades to existing business systems up to and including handover to production
• Support the training of end users in schools and other trust functions to drive usage and reduce unnecessary administrative tasks
• Propose upgrade strategies for business systems and promote an understanding of ITS, processes and activities

Requirememnts:

• MUST have 4+ years’ experience working as a Business Analyst in a large/complex organisation
• MUST have significant experience implementing and/or upgrading systems (e.g. CRM, SIMS, SITS etc)
• MUST have process improvement and reengineering expertise (e.g., process mapping, BPMN etc)
• MUST have strong stakeholder management skills at all levels
• MUST have expereince using a range of Business Analyst techniques, tools and methodologies
• Desirable – BCS/ISEB or relevant qualifications
