Role:Business Analyst
I am working alongside a leading global offshore operations and services provider who are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join their Digital Project Delivery Team to identify changes to processes which will be required to implement digital project delivery and work on/ shape the functions to prepare for the changes within process.
The aim being to complete an AS-IS and TO-BE map of what the affected current processes are for each function, complete with a comprehensive suite of owners and required documentation. This will allow each function to work with the Digitalisation team to develop the global ways of working required to deliver the Digital Project Delivery goal of structured data and to facilitate automation for go-live.
Focus areas will be:
What processes are affected
Who owns these processes
Which ones are documented suitably
How is compliance to process governed
Responsibilities:
Work with the Digital Project Delivery team and the PM Function to understand the new processes needed to deliver projects using the new systems being introduced and their ownership.
Work with internal functions to understand the current processes (AS-IS) and the impact of the change to the new ways of working (TO-BE).
Work across functions to ensure that processes owned by different functions are understood so that they can support and facilitate each other in pursuit of Digital Project Delivery and deliver recommendations for process change.
Use business analysis practices including data modelling to analyse your findings and create suggestions for strategic and operational improvements and changes.
Consider all opportunities and potential risks within the recommendations you make, as well as identifying the processes and IT required to introduce your recommendations.
Work with stakeholders to agree the best method of introducing your recommendations to the business, communicating the benefits across functions and regions and help to address any uncertainty and concern.
Produce documentation to support your work, report on your findings and to present to stakeholders when necessary.
Support staff and teams in making your recommended changes, including helping to resolve any issues.
Ensure plans are made and processes are created to evaluate the impact of the changes made, including taking responsibility for overseeing and reporting on this evaluation.
Interface with IT to identify the key links with the Enterprise architecture plan and any corresponding issues between proposed processes and planned architecture.
Skills/Experience:
A bachelor's degree in business or related field or an MBA.
Strong experience in business analysis in the engineering or digital project delivery environments.
Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
Excellent documentation skills.
Strong technical skills (Lean, Six Sigma, Agile etc).
Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations.
Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Visio, and Outlook.
Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
A history of leading and supporting successful projects.

Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 + excellent benefits
