I'm currently on the lookout for an AWS DevOps Engineer to join and own the DevOps function at a leading international talent development organization.

Salary: up to £80,000 (+ benefits)

Location: Fully Remote

The Role

As a DevOps Engineer within the Tech Team, your role will be to support the building of a world-class technology platform to enable you. to meet our goal of connecting talent to opportunities at scale. You will help design, build, automate and operate their platforms and processes and developer tooling to ensure we are continuously delivering, monitoring, and improving their products and services. They value innovation and autonomy, which means you will be instrumental in influencing the roadmap by researching, experimenting, and deriving solutions to overcome similar challenges.

Specifically, your main areas of focus will be:

  • Monitoring, observability, and instrumentation

  • Infrastructure provisioning

  • CI/CD tooling and build processes

  • Release automation

  • Infrastructure and application security


  • Experience with building out scalable and automated Cloud platforms on AWS

  • Experience in infrastructure automation tools (preferably CDK or CloudFormation)

  • Docker & Kubernetes would be a preference

  • Experience with languages such as Javascript, Typescript, Python, etc

  • A solid understanding of monitoring, auto-scaling, performance tuning, troubleshooting and disaster recovery best practices.

  • Proficiency with source control, CI/CD, and testing pipelines

  • Solid experience deploying full stack solutions to cloud infrastructure

  • Solid experience implementing Service Reliability processes.
