AWS Data Engineer – RDS / S3 / Aurora / Inside IR35

An AWS data engineer is required to join a newly formed team that will build a data platform to ingest data from multiple sources. This new platform will provide the business a better operational decision making process through a variety of dashboards and reports.

This will be a remote contract role and offer an initial 12 months upfront. The clients office is based in London but there isn’t a requirement to be based there. The ask is that you will travel in for workshops or meetings but naturally if office base is the preference, that can be accommodated.

Skills and experience:

• AWS, particularly data services such as RDS, S3, Aurora, Athena, etc
• RESTful and other APIs
• Experience with Python
• Experience processing raw data at scale (including writing scripts, web scraping, calling APIs, write SQL queries, writing applications)
