Associate IT Director | IT Business Partner - London based - £110k+

Role Overview

We are currently working with an international Bank based in central London. With a structural transformation on the horizon, they are looking for an Associate IT Director (Senior IT Business Partner).

The Associate IT Director leads the team that is the interface with other business units in the Bank to help define business strategy, interpret requirements, and develop business-technology demands into actionable IT activity. Establishes and manages relationships at all levels of the firm, including stakeholder expectations and demands. This role is a part of the IT leadership function of the Bank and is influential both within the Department and wider.

You will play a key role in the shaping and defining of initiatives and projects, collaborates to assure alignment with IT direction, and assists with marshalling of resources to appropriately capture requirements and interpret them for use by the technology team. Your main interfaces/relationships will be MD IT, Business Units, other Leadership team members, Project Sponsors

Knowledge, Skills, Experience & Qualifications

  • Extensive relevant consulting work experience in shaping and delivering on business change initiatives.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, business management, or related discipline preferred.
  • Strong customer service orientation, leadership and people management skills. Ability to balance a wide variety of priorities.
  • Must have positive, collaborative, and solution oriented attitude.
  • Strong project management and analytical skills including planning, organizing, and prioritizing.
  • Ability to build and manage IT-to-business relationships; ability to facilitate, communicate, lead, and work with large cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrate experience of delivering business process improvements in context of technology implementation required.
  • Experience in sizeable multinational organization preferred. Proven track record on working in cross-cultural environment. Proven track record working in a highly distributed team.
  • Legal or related experienced and knowledge of law office processes is highly desired.
  • Familiarity with System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile and DevOps concepts.
  • Willingness to travel to ROs.

*Candidates with a Financial Services background the client's preference currently.
