La Fosse is partnered with an established biotechnology company based in London who are looking for someone to lead their data strategy.

As a Data Strategy Lead, you will play a key role in driving data strategy across multiple functions, from data governance and architecture to advanced analytics and data-driven decision-making. You will work closely with senior leadership to align data initiatives with the company’s strategic goals, ensuring that data is effectively leveraged to maximise business impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of the company’s data strategy within the biotechnology space.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data governance, architecture, and analytics processes are optimised and aligned with business objectives.
• Develop and manage the data strategy roadmap, ensuring timely execution and alignment with organisational priorities.
• Drive data-driven decision-making by establishing best practices for data management, analytics, and reporting.
• Provide strategic insights to senior leadership, advising on data-related opportunities, challenges, and innovations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in data strategy, data management, and analytics, preferably within the biotechnology or life sciences sectors.
• Strong understanding of data governance, data architecture, and data analytics frameworks.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and drive results across cross-functional teams.
• Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A background in biotechnology, life sciences, or a related field is highly preferred.
