Futureproof is a coding academy and tech training services business that has been set up to help close the digital skills gap in the UK by launching and developing the tech superstars of the future and enabling our partners to build a scalable pipeline of high quality, skilled junior tech talent that is supported for 2 years.

At futureproof we are equally passionate about improving diversity whilst addressing the digital skills gap and that is why our 13-week course is completely free for our students. We focus on attracting people based on ability, rather than the ability to pay and then support our associates to establish a career in tech for the long term through our 'Assess, Train and Develop' method.

About the Role

Futureproof are looking to hire an Associate Client Partner. This role will be made up of identifying potential client partnerships with amazing tech companies and helping these businesses bring through the next generation of talent and to improve diversity in their tech teams.

You will have the opportunity to help us build a market leading brand and will be joining at a time where the business has already experienced some success and is now looking to scale and build on it.

The key focus of the role will be to support on the sales side, identifying prospective clients and working with the futureproof teams to create and build a longer-term partnership. You will do this by identifying organisations which are passionate about developing and supporting junior talent and building rapport with the key decision makers. You will also have the opportunity to leverage the La Fosse brand and existing relationships.


  • Working closely with internal and external stakeholders to leverage the La Fosse brand & relationships.
  • Executing against business development strategy by targeting, calling and meeting with new clients and building relationships with decision makers in target accounts.
  • Building a pipeline of prospects and demand for future cohorts.
  • Work with the futureproof team to convert initial interest/leads into active partnerships.
  • Working closely with internal and external stakeholders to leverage the La Fosse brand & relationships.

About you

  • You do not need to have sales experience or a specific degree, we focus simply on values and desire and will not compromise in either of these areas.
  • We are looking for candidates with strong business acumen and negotiation skills as well as a willingness to learn.
  • Resilient - comfortable working in an ambiguous start-up environment. Personable and positive attitude, a solution-focused problem solver who is pro-active.
  • Whether you have been a high achiever at university, in a previous role or within your extracurriculars, what matters to us is that you are target driven and not afraid of picking up the phone.
