Application Support Analyst - ERP - £35,000+Bonus


Responding to both Incidents and Requests from the business users as well as supporting testing of

enhancements and fixes. Using problem management techniques alongside knowledge of the system and

business process to look for root causes of incidents. Providing support and encouragement to users in their use

of the systems and writing user guides and documentation as needed.

Carrying out various routine maintenance tasks and monitoring activities as needed for optimum performance of

the system.

  • Resolution of Incidents and Requests raised by the Business within the Service Level Agreement.
  • Keeping OneService records updated and users informed of current status.
  • Prioritising the resolution of Incidents based on business impact.
  • Support System Integration Testing and provide support to users during User Acceptance Testing following development of enhancements and fixes.
  • Create and Maintain system documentation and user training materials.
  • Assist with major project work and business as usual changes as needed.
  • Actively identify improvements to systems and processes.
  • Provide root cause analysis of recurring incidents to improve system performance.
  • Work closely with JDE consultants, developers, Business Analysts and Project Managers.
  • Attend collaboration clinics and site visits to assist in resolution of incidents and best use of the system.
