Android Developer - £60,000 - £70,000 - Hybrid working (minimum 1 day in office) - Perm role
We are looking for highly motivated professionals to join our Mobile Development, Technology team, designing and delivering our mobile applications. Working as part of a growing agile delivery team, this is an exciting opportunity to be a part of building our mobile offering from the ground up.
Role Overview:
- Share your experience and learn from ours
- Contribute to the design, development, release, monitoring and maintenance of the Android application
- Use our current Android technology stack and collaboration tools to improve our mobile application
- Help us improve our technology stacks and ways of working
- Review Pull Requests promptly
- Participate in agile ceremonies: backlog refinement, blind planning poker, standup, sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives
Key skills:
- Love coding and love releasing production-quality features to the public
- Commitment to automated testing and continuous integration
- Experience of cross-functional squads
- Experience of working in a regulated industry
- Experience of managing third party SDKs in Android applications (Contentful, Customer Support, Security...)
- Experience with automation of code generation (Swagger OpenAPI) and of code quality reporting (SonarCloud)
- Our current Android tech stack: Kotlin, Multi-modules MVVM, Dagger, LiveData migrating to Flow, XML layouts migrating to Compose, Navigation Graph, Coroutines, Retrofit, Moshi, Mockk, JUnit, Kotest, Robolectric, Espresso, Kotlin script, ktlint, Bitbucket, Bitrise, Microsoft App Center
