Title: AI/ML Azure AI Engineer (Devops Engineer)
Day Rate: £400 – £450pd (OUTSIDE IR35)
Duration: 3 Months
Based: London (2 days a week)
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered applications using Python and Azure AI Services, ensuring high-performance and scalability.
- Create and implement efficient data ingestion pipelines and AI/ML models, optimising solutions for business teams using Azure cloud technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including AI Engineers, MLOps Engineers, Data Scientists, and Business Stakeholders, to define and implement AI project requirements.
- Develop and maintain secure and robust AI platforms, integrating MLOps practices into the development lifecycle for streamlined deployment.
- Conduct thorough testing and validation of AI models, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and adherence to best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to AI solutions, continuously monitoring and improving performance across the development cycle.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in software development with a strong proficiency in Python and cloud platforms, particularly Azure.
- Experience with Azure AI Services and cloud-based solution deployment, with a strong understanding of modern development best practices and CI/CD pipelines. (DESIRABLE)
- Proficiency in working with version control systems (e.g., Git) and experience in enterprise-scale applications, including troubleshooting and performance optimisation.
- Familiarity with containerisation technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and knowledge of cloud security fundamentals.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.
- Demonstrated passion for continuous learning, with a solid understanding of AI and machine learning concepts and eagerness to grow within the field.
