Agile Delivery Manager | Hybrid | £90,000 | London

Over the last 15 years, my client has evolved into a technology led retailer that provides luxury and contemporary apparel and exclusive sneaker drops to a global audience. One of the most influential, forward-thinking and inspirational fashion companies in the world, they have fresh products hitting the website daily and their service never stops.

What are the mission and goals for their new team/product area?

  • Overall Delivery mission: Help teams make their work visible and sustainable while delivering small reliable incremental updates.

  • Teams have structure and feel supported as they reset and scale

  • Stakeholders are involved throughout the product life cycle

  • Ensure that risks and dependencies are highlighted and managed appropriately across teams

  • Lead the project management of one off projects within the org eg.large multi-team feature releases

  • Engineers and Product Managers feel supported

What does a typical day look like in this job?

  • Meeting with engineers and PMs to find out what problems/concerns they or their teams have. Looking forward and asking the right questions related to risk, collaboration, and delivery.

  • Planning across the entire product life cycle so multiple teams can deliver work in an Agile and Lean manner without the need for overzealous process and reporting

  • Updating stakeholders on progress and assisting Engineering Leads and PMs with requirements gathering

  • Work with leaders to ensure that leaders & teams have a strong sense of ownership and ways of working.
