LFA Public Sector Transformation Practise are working with a film and television charitable organisation and are looking for Delivery Manager to join their team.

Main aims

  • Ensure continuous delivery of projects to an agreed roadmap.
  • Be the interface between project teams and the wider business: managing external influences, capturing requirements, risks and impediments
  • Responsible for the cohesion and success of the team by resolving issues, conflict, risk and making decisions

Role and responsibilities

  • Manage roadmap and ensure successful delivery of projects and features
  • Ensure project backlogs are refined and ready for development
  • Champion agile and lead ongoing team improvements and performance
  • Ensure clear communication of business priorities within the team
  • Track and communicate progress to stakeholders
  • Ensure Scrum process is followed and project artefacts are produced
  • Mentoring and supporting other staff on working effectively with digital teams
  • Manage external suppliers and partners, ensuring they deliver effectively
  • Responsible for agile project management and the Scrum process
  • Support the by gathering and documenting requirements from around the business

Person spec

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent (Maths and English GCSE minimum)
  • CSM or equivalent experience or qualification
  • - Significant experience in a delivery or Scrum Master role, ideally in video-on-demand, media, arts or cultural sectors
  • Experience of using Jira, or equivalent software
  • Demonstrable knowledge of the fundamentals of software development process Experience project managing cross-functional and multi-disciplinary teams
  • Experience managing third party suppliers
  • Emotionally intelligent with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to deal effectively with people at all levels, particularly under pressure
  • A willingness to take on tasks outside of the role in order to ensure that work is completed
  • Familiarity with the principles of service design
  • Good understanding of planning and budgetary principles
  • The ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with BFI colleagues, partners and stakeholders
