3rd Line Engineer- EUC SME - Manchester - Initial 6 Months

We are currently looking for a 3rd Line Engineer with extensive End User Computing experience. This role is for an initial 6-month contract and is based near Manchester. The successful candidate will provide 3rd line technical support to the client's information systems infrastructure and provide technical support/consultancy in End-User Computing.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Windows Server administration tools.
  • Extensive End User Computing Knowledge
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and associated technologies (GPO, DNS, WINS, DHCP etc).
  • Experience in the Implementation of Privileged Access Management in large organisations.
  • Experience of implementing role Based Access solutions within large organisations.
  • Hands on experience of job role determination, evaluation and implementation.
  • Experience of using ITIL would be an advantage.
  • Scripting & General Windows Server administration tools.
  • Microsoft Messaging/collaboration - Exchange, Skype for Business, Blackberry Enterprise Services, O365 collaboration tools.
  • Email Content filtering (preferably Cisco Ironport, Clearswift Secure Email Gateways, Trend Scanmail for Exchange).
  • Identity Management (Microsoft FIM/MIM/AADConnect, Microfocus Identity Manager, SSO/ADFS).
  • Microsoft Azure/O365 technologies.
  • NetApp storage solutions.
  • SUSE Linux.
  • Able to demonstrate considerable practical hands-on experience in a specific technical role with exposure to a range of the key Technical skills required within a specific team within the End User Computing department.
