La Fosse is currently working with an independent IT reseller to help recruit a 3rd line Engineer for their Watford branch.

Location: Watford (3 days in the office)

Remuneration: £40,000 - £45,000

Start Date: ASAP

Your role as an 3rd Line Support Engineer

  • Design, build and install systems for clients
  • Maintain client systems, updating, adding to, and improving
  • Resolution of IT issues to service targets (remotely and on-site)
  • Build positive relationships with customers and working collaboratively within a team environment
  • Installation and configuration of client, server, and mobile software/apps at client location
  • Build, and configure new PCs, servers, and network devices to required specifications
  • Provide support for IT infrastructure components, including desktops, laptops, applications, and Saas/IaaS
  • Server support and maintenance task management
  • Constantly improving IT support skills and taking the latest certifications in Microsoft, Cisco, VMWare etc.

Ideally to be successful as an 3rd Line Support Engineer you will have experience with

  • Microsoft 365 support experience
  • Experience in SharePoint online, Exchange online, Endpoint Manager
  • An understanding of remote desktop services and/or Azure virtual desktop
  • Windows 10 & 11 PC operating systems
  • An understanding of networking and different network technologies
  • Good working knowledge of Cloud and Hybrid Cloud systems
  • Proven analytical and logical troubleshooting approach
  • Excellent presentation and client interaction skills, good written and verbal communication, and strong organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Strong drive for excellent in customer service
  • Industry certifications are also desirable Microsoft 365 support experience
  • Experience in SharePoint online, Exchange online, Endpoint Manager
