Currently we are looking for an 2nd Line IT Support Engineer to join an education company which runs a network of schools colleges and nurseries. The position will see you working with schools in West London (Ladbroke Grove).

The 2nd Line IT Support Engineer will be an integral member of the support team. You will provide support across software, hardware and networking.

Summary:

Role: 2nd Line IT Support Engineer

Location: West London (Ladbroke Grove)

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000

Responsibilities:

Provide 2nd Line Infrastructure Support to schools, offering expert advice and guidance to non-technical people.

Responsible for the administration of Microsoft Server, Active Directory, Group Policy and DNS

Follow IT support processes in line with best practices

Experience

Required:

  • Previous experience working in IT Support for an education company
  • Windows Server
  • MS Active Directory
  • Group Policy
  • DNS
  • Ability to provide and explain solutions to non-technical people

Desired:

  • Windows 10
  • Azure (including Azure AD)
  • SCCM
  • Office 365
  • Capita SIMS
  • Experience in visiting multiple sites, providing face to face support
