Position: 1st/2nd Line Support Specialist

Location: London

Salary: £25,000 - £32,000 + benefits

I am currently looking for a 1st/2nd Line Support Specialist to join a leading, global management consulting firm.

The 1st/2nd Line Support Specialist will be an integral member of the support team, playing an important part of a friendly IT operations team, responsible for prioritising and assisting in our day to day IT requests and issues, manage our IT assets and support implementation of projects within the team.

Experience Required:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role
  • High customer focused and first time fix attitude
  • Windows 10, Windows server, Mac OS, Microsoft Office and Cloud file share support experience
  • WebEx meeting setup and basic troubleshooting experience
  • SCCM or imaging software experience
  • Exposure to cloud technology
  • VoIP experience
  • Ability to effectively communicate and present technical concepts to management, peer group and staff
  • Experience working with ServiceNow or similar ticketing system
  • Ability to diagnose problems and provide solutions and/or escalate to the appropriate expertise area, including IT Toolbox and other internal resources
  • Experience in training users in new technologies

Desirable:

  • ITIL Foundation certified (v3 or v4) and a clear understanding of the ITIL system and ticketing process
  • Project management experience or certifications
  • University degree, or equivalent, in Technology or Computer Science
