Position - 2nd Line Operations Technical Support

Location - City of London

Salary - £30k - 40k

Background:

My client, a technology company focusing on High Net Worth insurance for clients of UK brokers, is looking for a 1st/2nd Line Operations Technical Support to join their Infrastructure team. Reporting directly into the Technology Operations Manager, the successful candidate will be one of the main IT support contacts, focusing on networking and desktop support. They will also develop the required skills to support cloud services, including G-Suite enterprise platform, Citrix platform, Salesforce and AWS.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2-3 year's experience.
  • Must posses excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to relay technical information to non-technical people.
  • Excellent problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work and perform to a high standard in pressurised situations.

Technical Skills\Experience in many of the following:

  • Experience using networking test tools such as Wireshark
  • Proven experience as a Network help desk analyst or other customer support role
  • Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and Apple devices
