We are seeking an experienced Desktop Support Analyst (2nd Line) to support a large-scale Windows 11 deployment across a corporate environment.

 

Rate: £200-250 Inside IR35

Length: 3 Months 

Location: Manchester (Onsite full time with occasional travel to London)

 

The role will focus on hands-on end-user support, device readiness, troubleshooting, and post-migration stabilisation.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 2nd line desktop support during a Windows 11 rollout

  • Troubleshoot hardware, OS, and application issues (pre and post-upgrade)

  • Support and configure Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint)

  • Device management and troubleshooting via Intune / Endpoint Manager

  • User onboarding, device builds, and upgrade support

  • Work closely with project and infrastructure teams to resolve rollout issues

 

Required Experience

  • Proven experience supporting Windows 10/11 in enterprise environments

  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365

  • Experience managing and supporting devices via Intune

  • Solid desktop, laptop, and peripheral troubleshooting skills

  • Excellent customer-facing and communication skills

 

Nice to Have

  • Previous experience on large-scale OS upgrade or device rollout projects

  • Autopilot exposure

  • Basic Azure AD / Entra ID knowledge
