Automation Lead

Automation Lead – Contract (£425 outside IR35) – Hybrid, London (3 days per week)

La Fosse has partnered with an established hospitality organisation to recruit a Contract Automation Lead. You will work closely with two Programme Managers, supporting the day-to-day running of test automation across multiple programmes. The role is predominantly hands-on, taking ownership of automation delivery while coordinating testing activities, managing priorities, and ensuring requirements are clearly understood and translated into robust automation test coverage.

Key requirements:

• Strong hands-on expertise in Playwright (or other automation tools).
• Lead and mentor a team of junior testers and be responsible for coordinating testing efforts across multiple programmes.
• Take ownership of the delivery and maintenance of automation test suites
• Work closely with stakeholders to refine requirements and ensure they are fully testable.
• Represent the programme in discussions with wider teams and management.
• Extensive experience writing unit and functional tests
• Experience with Data testing using Snowflake
