DevOps Engineer
Location: London (3 days onsite)
Type: Permanent
Salary: £65k – £70k (possibly higher for the right candidate)
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy, install, and configure .NET and other web applications.
- Manage SQL Server databases, permissions, backups, and script deployments.
- Perform structured releases across DEV, TEST, and PRD environments.
- Configure and manage virtualized servers (e.g., VMWare) with performance tuning.
- Install and support packaged applications such as BizTalk, Dynamics CRM, and Pega.
- Maintain deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting documentation.
- Monitor systems, logs, backups, and server resources; ensure availability and integrity.
- Administer Active Directory: users, groups, and service accounts.
- Assist with disaster recovery planning, testing, and out-of-hours deployments.
- Identify automation opportunities in deployments, maintenance, and environment refreshes.
- Collaborate with engineering, QA, and platform teams to enhance CI/CD pipelines.
- Develop CI/CD policies, standards, and training materials.
