They are seeking a strong Software Architect to join their Engineering function, who will take the following responsibilities:
Lead the design and delivery of Architecture for new solutions based on exisiting functional requirements and technical constraints
Work closely with the development team and VP of Engineering to document exisitng systems
Design and deliver high-level Architectural designs
Key Skills:
Experience Architecting and building Microservices architecture and Service-oriented architecture.
Experience using .Net web development technologies
Extensive experience of developing enterprise-grade applications on C#, .Net Core
Service-oriented architecture, Web Services and APIs
Ideally experience in Mongo DB and ElasticSearch DB
Strong experience in message queuing technology (Kafka and/or EventStore)
Good understanding of Object-Oriented Principals such as SOLID, KISS, DRY, Clean Code concepts and

La Fosse are currently engaged with a start-up med-tech company who are looking for a Head of Software Architecture to lead the organisation in mission-critical projects of work.
With plans to double the size of the organisation by end of 2020, this is an crucial hire for the organisation. Reporting into the Director of Engineering, you will be responsible for designing, delivering and implementing their end to end Software Architecture.
Key responsibilities:
Define and deliver robust and scalable end to end Software Architecture across embedded, cloud and app
Manage in-house teams and out-sourced partnerships globally
Work in alignment with the business strategy
Be confident leveraging internal relationships across science, engineering, design and commercial teams to create and prioritise deliverables in line with the organisation's portfolio development
Act as SME, mentoring and guiding to ensure products are improved where possible
Create and develop a vision for IoT, Connected and Smart capabilities
Keep up to date emerging technologies, assessing where necessary the impact and threat to the business.
Key skills:
Experience working within a Head of Architecture or Senior Software Architecture remit
Previous experience delivering end to end Software Architecture
Understanding and hands on experience delivering large scale embedded solutions
Understanding of Architecture methodologies, including TOGAF
Experience with Cloud technologies, ideally AWS and Azure
Experience designing restful APIs
Preferred previous experience within large, complex enterprises
