We were delighted to host our second Culture Panel: 

Culture - How to Build an Effective Culture and Maintain It in a Fast-Growth Environment.

During this event, our fantastic panel shared their insights on how to build an award-winning company culture and how to maintain it in a high growth environment. This event was for C-Level Executives, Talent and People Leaders and Digital & Technology Directors who have culture on their agenda, whether they are looking to build, maintain or change the culture within their business.

 

The panel was facilitated by:

Ellen Donnelly – Head of Talent at Orkestro

Ellen’s extensive career includes highlights at British Airways, Deloitte, GSK, IMG Media, Tesco, Rolls-Royce, Unilever and The Bakery. Focussing on connecting corporates with the right talent & technology, Ellen is passionate about the future of work, career coaching, and workplace diversity, often speaking publicly on these topics. Ellen is also a Founding Member of Jolt London

Our panel consisted of:

Jason Stockwood – Vice Chairman & CEO at Simply Business
Jason has worked at LastMinute.com, been Managing Director of Match.com, and a Non Exec Director at Skyscanner. His last business Simply Business has been a massively successful growth business and whilst he was CEO the company achieved first place in the Sunday Times Best Companies to Work for and he also won the Sunday Times Best Leader award.

Liz Robinson - Co-Director, Big Education
At 29, Liz Robinson was the youngest headteacher in England. She took on a pretty rough inner city school (Surrey Square Primary School) which she turned into a fantastic place. She’s done it in a remarkable way, by throwing away the rule book. After being the headmaster of Surrey Square for 10 years, Liz just started a new role with Big Education, an organization on a mission to change the education system by empowering teachers and leaders to ask bigger questions about what schools should or could stand for.

Simon La Fosse – Founder & Executive Chairman
In 2007, Simon started La Fosse Associates with the vision of creating a co-owned, technology recruitment firm that treated clients, candidates and each other with care and respect. 11 years later, this simple ethos has driven growth from a one-man band to a team of 220 people with offices across the UK + US. La Fosse has won numerous awards along the way, including being voted the Sunday Times Top 40 Best Small Company to Work For in the UK for six years in a row.
